Autonomous swarms in competition
MBDA and brigkAIR are hosting the Swarm Drone Challenge 2026: international teams from companies, start-ups and universities compete in the Drone Pavilion. In capture-the-flag scenarios, drone swarms must autonomously solve tactical tasks and demonstrate their capabilities in swarm coordination, communication and artificial intelligence.
A high-calibre jury from industry, research, politics and the armed forces evaluates innovation, technical implementation and operational capability. Patron: Dr. Reinhard Brandl, Member of the German Bundestag.
